Tats�chlich wissen jedoch nur wenige wirklich �ber die wahre Bedeutung des Designs Bescheid, denn gerade die Grauzone zwischen Kunst und Design scheint nach Meyer bei vielen Menschen f�r Verwirrung zu f�hren.1Eine diesbez�glich erfolgte Studie hat herausgefunden, dass der Begriff „Design“ von Laien zu fast 99%, von Unternehmern zu 80% und selbst von Fachleuten immerhin noch zu 70% falsch verstanden wird.2Zunehmend mehr Dinge w�rden derweilen als „Designer-Objekte“ bezeichnet und viele Menschen scheinen mit dem Begriff „Design“ automatisch etwas Kostspieliges und Teures zu verbinden.
Doch ob diese Vermutungen wirklich zutreffen, ob unter der Person des Designers wirklich ein „extravaganter (Lebens-)K�nstler“ verstanden werden kann und vor allem was Design eigentlich kostet soll in dieser Arbeit gekl�rt werden.
